Product Review
It drives great on all surfaces & better than other walkers
The stability on uneven terrain is especially noteworthy. The Veloped is a bit bulky- but it can transport a lot of stuff from our dog over groceries to camping equipment, something that is unthinkable to do with any other walker I know. Walking is possible with greater strides because of the movable seat - also a great feature! The breaks are absolutely awesome and handling while walking is great.
There are a few negative points: the seat is uncomfortable due to the bar right at the backside (I have spine issues) The same is true for the handle bar (even with back padding). My other walker has a flexible solution, which is much more comfortable. And the last (minor) negative point: On the beach the Veloped is pretty much useless. It takes so much effort to push it through the sand that it is hard for a healthy person to do, even with nothing loaded into the basket. But probably EVERY walker will have problems with deep, loose sand. For active people who enjoy the outdoors and walking longer distances or transporting things, the Veloped is a must have in my eyes. For short trips between car and downtown or a quick bite to eat a lightweight walker is the perfect match.
