Ergonomic rollator grips help to promote safety and comfort when you are using your rollator. Proper grips prevent your hands from sliding and minimize the load and shock on your hands, arms and upper body. The key is to choose the grips best suited to your hand size.
When you get a conventional walker, it will usually have plastic rollator grips. However, plastic does not offer comfort, and your hands can slide when walking, increasing the risk of falls.
Hand grips on conventional rollators are often made with just one material, while the handgrips on the Trionic rollators and walkers use at least two different materials. The reason for this is added safety and comfort. The part of the grip you put your weight on needs to be made from a material with more friction, whilst the underside is made of a more grip-friendly rubber. The rubber design ensures the handles on your walker prevent slippage.
Users with poor grip strength need to consider rollator grips with a better pattern or texture. Trionic's Walker and Velopeds offer grips on your walker, and make sure you have handles that are easy to hold onto when you are out walking. Every detail on your walker is important for your own safety.
We offer grips with varying gauge. Our rollator grips are smaller at the end closest to the brake lever and then thicker on the end of the grip to alleviate your hands when walking. Ergonomic grips with a varying gauge, following the natural shape of your palm, outperforms single-gauge grips as they do not follow your hand and do not offer a relieving surface for supporting the full weight you need to put on your rollator when you are out walking.
My husband is completely satisfied and can highly recommend the Waker 12…
We do a lot of walking in the woods on uneven ground. We have to remove the rear wheels because our boot is small. This is very quick to do. Thanks to all the developers of the Walker.…
PERFECT…
Perfect, because you can walk upright and avoid walking with a bent back. The back improves the more you walk.
A tip: When folding the Veloped, there should be a latch that keeps the frame locked in a folded state.

Now when the poorly plowed roads of winter are just a memory, I once again experience what a super ally the Trionic is. It rolls almost all by itself on the springy air-filled tires. The basket manages almost any heavy loads! The basket is designed s…

My 94-year-old mother walks 4 to 6 km a day with it in her beloved forest, it is easy to drive / steer, bumps are mastered without any problems, my mother is grateful, no longer feels as ‘shaken’ as with the old ordinary outdoor rollator.

The Veloped is actually intended for my wife, but occasionally I use it too (92). Our satisfaction is probably best expressed by the fact that we will probably buy another one.

I have used the Tour now for a couple of weeks. Am absolutely amazed at the difference it makes to walking. Have been using a standard 4-wheel walker and walking was very limited. After about a hundred yards or so the pain in my back was such that I …
