I don't normally write reviews, but wanted to say how grateful we are to have found the Trionic Veloped. Things were looking quite bleak until we found it. My husband has a rare degenerative condition similar to MND. He is tall and wants to remain as active as possible (he also needs to, as that is the only way to slow the deterioration), and the traditional flimsy walkers were unusable for him. The best one we found locally was more of a hindrance than a help. The wheels would spin on tiny little bumps and the narrow frame would trip him up. It was also utterly useless in wet weather. After a great deal of research, we invested in the Trionic walker. What a difference! He is now able to walk much more happily outside, on different surfaces and in all weathers. As a result, we have been able to spend much more time together as a family (we have a 5-year-old). We always used to love walking in the countryside before the progression of his condition made it too hard, and so the Veloped has genuinely given us something very precious back that we thought was behind us. The care and attention to detail in the design are very apparent, as are the excellent quality materials used to make it. We were also very impressed by the customer care, as we were unsure which size and model to go for and we received very patient and detailed help so that we purchased the best one for us. There is nothing else like this product on the market. Highly recommended!

Finally, no more pain in my hands
Since I have this rollator, I could cry with happiness. I walked around with the wrong one for three years and ruined my right hand.

The walker arrived and UPS even helped me with the box. I opened the box without any problems, overturned it and simply took out the walker. All accessories were perfectly assembled. Open the package and go. This is really nice. It is a bit difficult to open and close because I have very little strength and everything is still so new. The belt between the front wheels is a bit of a hindrance, but this doesn't bother other people much. It can be loaded into the car even with a simple trick. My old walker weighed 6 kg, the new one weighs 9. I can’t lift it, so I do this: I fold it, to lift it I step on the back, and put the front wheels on the vehicle frame (I put it behind the driver's seat), then I grab it from behind and push it inside. To finish, I tilt it forward, otherwise, I won’t be able to close the door; that’s all. Now I lift a lot less weight, even though it looks so complicated. I am completely satisfied.

Hello Mr. Kindberg
I had no idea what to expect, I had never seen the product in real life ... and then this: wow!
I just unfolded the Veloped and mounted the wheels. I'm so excited about your invention and the quality is noticeable. The wait was worth it!
About me. Two years ago, I gave my mother a so-called high-quality rollator for her 85th birthday. She thought it was 'not necessary yet and somehow embarrassing' ...
I am only 63 years old myself, but I have been aware for decades that either I will not get old or that I should then prepare myself to have the best possible life quality 'in old age'.
I have never understood why kids’ strollers are so modern and varied, while the elderly do not want to treat themselves to anything. I also like electrical aids, but only when the last remaining muscles of an elderly person no longer allow them to walk.
Now I am very curious how the many smaller obstacles can be overcome with the Veloped.
Kind regards and have a wonderful day
Hans Wagner
MY SECOND EMAIL FROM 11/06/2021
Hello Mr. Kindberg
I made my first two trips.
My anticipation was confirmed:
-Forest paths, those around the golf course and almost all obstacles could be overcome without any problems (maybe my stair climbing technique can be improved?)
-the steering technology makes fun.
- rough sections of the path are gentler to master than with my double-sprung eMTB
-The seat can easily be moved, and the Tour version is comfortable. You can take a break and enjoy nature at any time.
this allows you to walk upright in a very fast way (medium stride lengths are still suitable for athletic older people) and a bit of running is also entirely possible.
With this very sensible purchase, provision is made for maintaining my fitness in old age and thus the best possible quality of life!
Friendly greetings from Switzerland!
Hans Wagner
MY THIRD EMAIL FROM 12/06/2021
Good morning Mr. Kindberg
This morning my wife (56 years old) tried the Veloped with me. She was also immediately able to make friends with your great invention. She could easily place her walking sticks in the stick holder.
Incidentally, I met one of my direct neighbors this morning (around 80 years old). He and his wife both recently fell twice with serious consequences. They have a 'standard rollator' that they bought in case they would need it and have never used it! I tried to prove myself as a voluntary sales assistant. We'll see if they will fall in love...
I have already refined the stairs climbing technique ...
Of course, your invention and the great product developed from it deserve a very good rating from me!
Kind regards and good luck!
Hans Wagner

I can finally walk upright with my new walker and do not have to look at the ground to avoid potholes and the like. My young grandchildren call to each other to be quick to catch up with Oma. At 84 years old I find it a bit heavy to get into my boot, but I manage. Would not be without it anymore. I still take my ordinary walker for a short walk around the shops and find I am walking more upright even with that now. Would not part with my new toy which I call Upsala, a German exclamation when something is about to go wrong and of course the birthplace of this marvellous invention.

Technically sophisticated. Excellent workmanship. Stable and safe to use. Perfect for walking on dirt roads and cobblestone streets. Also, very suitable for patients with balance disorders.

The only point that, in my opinion, could be improved is the description of how to adapt the walker to the patient. Something like a recommendation on how to adjust the height and position of the handles, or what to pay attention to when adjusting.

Good morning,

I am very happy to write to you. As you know my wife sees only 5% per eye and, after the initial difficulties, now she gets along very well with her walker. Sure, someone always must be there, but that has nothing to do with this great product. As a suggestion, the handles could be a little longer, so one can be able to stand up alone, which is now not possible for a person with neuropathy on feet and hands. Also, it would be very helpful if there was a way to lift and move the Veloped forward with your foot. But I know that for some reason it is not possible to add a pedal. I could then imagine a ball that could be fixed under the frame. My wife would not see it anyway, but, like many other things, when she doesn't see the solution, she develops her own technique. The Veloped also has the right weight so that I can lift it and load it into my Alhambra without having to take off the front wheels, if one knows how to do it. When you learn the trick, it is also very easy to fold the Veloped and the seat is really well designed. Despite poor eyesight, even my wife can do it alone. Really fantastic! I see it as when one builds a house: the second house would get done differently, but this does not mean that it has been done badly, and only thanks to the customers’ suggestions one can implement something new. Yes, the price is a bit high, but it's worth it; it is simply not a cheap product that hits supermarket shelves. Thanks for your great product. I hope that you will always accept the suggestions from sick people or from health workers because walking is a topic that needs to be addressed more. Unfortunately, we, healthy people, do not always see their concerns. I am already advertising for you and I will be happy to give away some flyers too, if you send me some, because I did not find them on the internet quickly, as you are not that well known yet.
Thanks, regards, Ralf Herold

Great company - Great product!
I've been using a solid wheel rollator walker for 3 years. I wish I'd known about Trionic from the start! My old rollator broke for the second time in 2 years. They claimed it was an all-terrain rollator, but it obviously couldn't keep up with me as the same part kept breaking. This time, I couldn't even get it repaired because of the global shipping crisis. That's how I stumbled across Trionic - I was desperately looking for a replacement walker that was manufactured in Europe in the hopes that delivery wouldn't be hampered by the shipping crisis. I emailed Trionic to confirm they weren't having shipping delays and was shocked to receive a reply directly from Johan, one of the founders, who reassured me that delivery would be unaffected.

I decided that instead of going with one of the Trionic rollators, I was going to order a Veloped Trek 14er M. It arrived in days and all of the accessories I'd ordered arrived already installed, which was a bonus.
From my very first spin around my very muddy garden - I knew the Veloped was a game-changer. Hand on heart, one of my first impressions (as I easily crossed muddy, boggy, grass and then took it up and down every kerb and obstacle that I could find) was that the Veloped feels like it was designed by someone that needs to use mobility equipment - or someone who loves someone that does. The Veloped has made me realise that some of the exhaustion, pain, and difficulties that made me need to stop to rest so often with my old rollator were due to its difficulties handling obstacles - needing to be lifted or twisted around or over them, and also the massive amounts of vibrations transferred through the rollator to the user when crossing any sort of textured surface - be it brick-paved, gravel, or cobblestone. And it was painful when something as small as a pebble could bring you to a violent stop by locking up one wheel. Using the Veloped, there's a massive improvement in the amount of vibration transferred to the user. The front wheel design is excellent for getting over obstacles - and not needing to search for and use a dropped kerb reduces how much walking is required if there isn't one readily accessible. I don't need a ramp to get up the (low) steps to get into my house anymore. The Veloped and its sliding seat also encourage me to walk more upright and feel more like I'm walking normally, not like I'm pushing something in front of me like rollators often do, and that has improved my posture while walking.
The customer service has been great. Delivery was great and even the packaging, user manual, laminated quick reference info, and letter from the founders felt premium. The product is great. I have already recommended it a few times to people trying to use a rollator to maintain an active life because it likely would be a better fit for their lifestyles.
My only criticisms:
-It *will* fold down narrower than its narrowest locking position. It would be nice to be able to lock it securely in its narrowest position especially when travelling. It just seems like it works to be less likely to be damaged in transit that way.
-The seat is quite narrow. With the maximum weight capacity of the Veloped, you'd think that there was at least one model available for those with broader hips and bums. This is the main complaint I hear about the Veloped so I know that it's not just me that finds it pretty snug and not something that I would like to sit on for long periods of time. However, I have seen many people strap a folding chair to the side of the Veloped so they do have a comfortable seat they can use when they reach their destination or for a longer rest. It would just be nice if that weren't necessary.

The rollator is not only elegant but also extremely reliable; I have a secure grip even on bumpy paths, even in snow it gave me good security. The brakes work perfectly and instantly. Longer distances are no longer a problem for me. I feel very comfortable with this rollator, it looks sporty but is discreet at the same time. The delivery went smoothly and in just three days the walker was well packed at my door. The slightly higher price is completely reasonable.

I have a dropped foot and weak muscle power in legs. The Veloped has made walking over most terrain a possibility and has returned to me the joy of taking walks. Apart from pushing uphill definitely improves posture by requiring you to stand upright. On a walk along the beach only yesterday was admired by a gentleman who remarked that his late wife who suffered from a type of MS had one which gave her much improved mobility and that this was the first time he had seen another one.
Very rare to be able to recommend something without reservation.

What really surprised me was the smoothness of the Veloped.
After extensively testing the Veloped Trek 14er M, I would like to describe my experience here. What really surprised me was the smoothness of the Veloped. Roots and branches are not an obstacle and can be easily driven over. The assembly and disassembly are also extremely quick. Due to a herniated disc, a listhesis and deforming arthrosis, I was only able to walk a few meters. At first, I was sceptical as to whether I would be able to walk longer distances with a walker, but I was proven otherwise. The Veloped is worth every penny, I would buy it again and again, and would recommend it to anyone. What I would like is an additional trolley for large dogs that can be attached to the Veloped. In this way, disabled and old dogs could also overcome longer distances.
