Can I buy a front wheel for the Veloped separately?
The Veloped's front wheel, the Climbing Wheel, is not sold on its own. To replace the whole front wheel, order a complete Veloped wheel set, which includes the Climbing Wheel and both rear wheels. Often, though, only one part of the front wheel is worn or broken – a tyre, the rubber damper or the axle – and those parts are sold separately for much less.
Replace the whole front wheel
- Veloped wheel set 12" complete – for a Veloped with 12-inch wheels
- Veloped wheel set 14" complete – for a Veloped with 14-inch wheels
Each set contains the Climbing Wheel and two rear wheels, assembled with rims, bearings, axles, tyres and tubes.
Replace only the part that is worn
- Worn tyres or a puncture: 12" tyre set, 14" tyre set or a single inner tube
- The Climbing Wheel feels loose or knocks: Rubber Damper for Veloped Climbing Wheel
- The Climbing Wheel won't stay in City Mode or Forest Mode: spring-loaded sprint or spring with screws and washers
- The axle is bent or the wheel won't lock: quick-release axle for the Climbing Wheel
- A missing hub cap: hub cap for 2020 and later or hub cap for 2010–2019
Rear wheels are sold individually: 12" rear wheel and 14" rear wheel.
