How do I get a Trionic Veloped or Walker through the Krankenkasse?
The Trionic Veloped and Walker are higher-value premium walking aids that go beyond the standard provision of the Krankenkasse. In practice this works via the so-called "wirtschaftliche Aufzahlung" (economic top-up): the Krankenkasse covers the amount budgeted for a standard model, and you pay the difference to the Trionic model yourself.
How to proceed: ask your doctor to prescribe a rollator, ideally with a justification for a higher-value or lighter model, and contact us — we will support you with the necessary documents. Alternatively, buy the Trionic directly; then it is your property and you enjoy a 10-year warranty on all original parts.
