How do I apply for a PGB? (Netherlands)
You apply for a personal budget (PGB) through the Wmo desk (Wmo-loket) of your municipality. You first report your support request; this is followed by a meeting with a Wmo consultant (the so-called ‘kitchen-table conversation’), in which you discuss whether a PGB is suitable for your situation.
If a PGB is granted, you choose your own supplier and model. Advice from your GP, occupational therapist or physiotherapist strengthens your application. The exact procedure and conditions differ per municipality, so always check with your own municipality.
