Prescription or buying it yourself – what's worthwhile?
A rollator on prescription is usually a loan: the standard model remains the property of the Krankenkasse or its contracted partner and is returned when no longer needed. You have less choice, but pay only the small co-payment.
If you buy a Trionic Veloped or Walker yourself, the device is your property. You freely choose the model that suits you, and benefit from a 10-year warranty on all original parts and a service life of 15 years or more. Especially for a premium aid that you use daily and outdoors, this is often the better solution.
